Julio Cortázar born on Brussels, 26^th august of 1914, was one of the greatest writers of Latin America. Worked as translator some time of his life. Argentinian first, but later he takes the French nationality. He wrote a lot of short stories, essay and novels. He influenced a whole generation with his style of writing. He wrote poesy and drama. I like Cortázar because he has a unique style of writing how it is known. His books are replete of magic, he overtakes the imagination of people and lead them to unknowledge spaces of their minds. Has a lot of plot twist and some of his short histories don’t have a singular end, the reader must make sense and create one by himself. Maybe, his top work is Rayuela, it is an antinovel by the own words of the author, has a lot of references of other books and authors. His short histories are too many and all of them are great, each one has an own and unique sense. It’s the best, no one can beat him.
